Codete was involved in cooperation with Deloitte on a spin-off project for the automotive industry leader. The goal of the project was to track BMW vehicles on their way from the factory to the car dealers.
The project required expert knowledge in a very specific tech-stack, including a scientific approach to data architecture and analysis. Our internal R&D department worked closely together with BMW on the client's side and Deloitte as our partner in the project.
Each car sends frequent messages with its current position and state of its sensors. This data needs to be matched with the detailed information about the vehicle, which is stored in another system. The number of incoming messages is planned to be very high, so all the processing is done within a distributed architecture, using state-of-the-art big data tools.
